More than two thousand years ago, Hippocrates, the Greek physician and father of medicine, said, “A wise man ought to realize that health is the most valuable possession.”

We are obliged to Hippocrates’ and others from the past for
reminding us that fitness and health is not just a new and passing phenomenon and neither are the ways to achieve and maintain good health.

The fundamentals of good health, known and proven for so
long, are available to anyone who decides they want to fully enjoy the enormous benefits of healthy living.

The reality of this lesson is brought home in the compelling story from over a century ago of an American boy, sickly and weakened by childhood diseases, who sought a refuge from his physical handicaps in a love of books and reading. As time went on, just as his mind grew strong from his studies, his body continued to fail.

His concerned father at last told his 12-year old son, “You have the mind but not the body, and without the help of the body the mind cannot go as far as it should. You must make your body know you will do it!” And the wise father then gave the boy weights and other gymnastic equipment and worked with him to strengthen his frail young body.

Well, this story has a remarkably happy ending. The boy heeded his father’s encouragement, and not only worked hard to rebuild his health, but became a superior athlete, graduated from Harvard University and went on to lead a vigorously active life of eminent achievement. This once-sickly boy eventually became the 26th president of the United States. He was Theodore Roosevelt, who at age 42, was and is the youngest man ever to become president.

Throughout his life, Roosevelt practiced what he called, “the
strenuous life.” His energetic commitment to physical activities
included boxing, horseback riding, swimming and hiking among others.
Teddy Roosevelt discovered that an important foundation for good
health is movement and activity. He demonstrated that our bodies are
designed to get stronger as they are constantly used and challenged
with purposeful physical activities.

Teddy Roosevelt, incidentally, was a great outdoorsman and probably
knew more about natural science than any other President who has ever
been in office, and some of his most notable achievements were in the
area of conservation. He added about 150 million acres to the
national forests, set up five new national parks, created the first
51 federal bird reservations and established the first four national
game preserves. He loved nature and worked to preserve the
environment for future generations.

Roosevelt undoubtedly agreed with Hippocrates view that, “The first
wealth is health.” And with the old proverb that takes Hippocrates
idea one step further by saying, “Health is better than wealth.”

Because Teddy Roosevelt’s life dramatically exemplifies the
life-changing power of achieving and maintaining good health. The
simple moral to his story is that nothing is more essential to
building a successful life than good health.

As Teddy Roosevelt showed us, the secrets to good health are not
complicated. They are known and waiting for you to discover them and,
most important, to put them into practice. The blessings and joys of
good health and fitness can be yours when you choose to make them
priorities in your life.

Good health, you know, means having the capacity to live life fully
and being able to experience the best that life has to offer. It
means having vigor and energy. It is having the ability to pursue
your dreams with the confidence that you will be able to accomplish
them.

It’s doubtful that Teddy Roosevelt would have accomplished much in
his life had it not been for the words of advice from his father
about developing his body in addition to his mind. It’s worth
thinking about, especially these days when so many of us live
sedentary existences. We can only go where our bodies can take us,
and our bodies need exercise to stay healthy and strong. So remember:
build both your body and your mind. They’re a powerful combination.
Teddy Roosevelt proved it.

Action to be taken: Commit to a firm set of health related goals and
get yourself in the best physical shape starting today.

Everything Counts!

One of the most common complaints among coffee drinkers is
that the caffeine can disturb their sleep. This result has been known for thousands of years and is, in fact, one of the reasons why many drink coffee in the first place: to stay awake.

Some coffee drinkers, on the other hand, claim that their sleep is as restful as ever, regardless of their coffee consumption. And without statistical evidence, who can refute their testimony? While it is obvious that caffeine affects all of us in different ways, it is equally interesting to note that we oftentimes don’t know how coffee is affecting our system and, therefore, we cannot evaluate what’s happening to our sleep.

Subjects in several studies show that oftentimes coffee drinkers
don’t have the least idea what a good night’s sleep is all about – so rarely have they recently had one. In brain wave studies, researchers have found that caffeine impairs the quality of sleep during the first three hours, a fact that agrees with the rate of metabolic elimination of caffeine by the liver.

Another researcher noted that caffeine consumption not only
substantially delays the onset of sleep, but diminishes the quality of sleep as well. Significantly more body movements were noted among high caffeine users and the quality of sleep was substantially diminished.

One study proved just how ignorant we might be about our sleep.
The researcher studied the sleeping habits of medical students and found that many students claimed caffeine did not disturb their sleep, even when objective observations confirmed that it had. This denial, says the researcher, reinforces the clinical impression that many coffee drinkers simply don’t attribute undesirable clinical symptoms to their caffeine intake.

This situation illuminates one of the insidious aspects of coffee addiction: we often are unaware of how it affects us. Studies often reveal that respondents reported that, when they quit coffee, they experienced improved energy levels produced by better, more restful sleep.

What is more remarkable is that they believed they had been
getting a good night’s sleep before they quit drinking coffee. In short, coffee is ruining the sleep of millions of Americans – and they don’t even know it.

Marina Kushner is the founder of the Caffeine Awareness Alliance, the first non-profit organization dedicated solely to educating consumers about the dangers of caffeine intoxication. She is a reformed coffee drinker, leading investigative journalist and speaker. She is president of Soy Coffee, LLC, makers of the popular caffeine-free coffee substitute “Soyfee”, which is made from soybeans. Certified organic, its brewed just like coffee and comes in 8 delicious flavors like hazelnut, mocha, french vanilla & house blend. Just imagine what you could do with one extra hour a day, you
could spend it playing with your son or doing research on your
next project

What I’ve compiled are my all time favorite websites that I’m
sure will save you lots of time, which you can spend doing more
important things.

Here we go in no apparent order.

1. Http://www.linkcounter.com LinkCounter is a free service that
tracks clicks on any link you want to track, from inside,
outside, or within your site itself. It’s a great way to track
affiliate programs and link exchanges, or to create referring
links for sites you trade traffic with. They provide you with an
unbiased report that you can use to keep track of your outgoing
and incoming hits.

2. http://www.score.org S.C.O.R.E stands for the Service Corps
of Retired Executives, and they pride themselves on being the
Counselors to Americas Small Business. In effect, S.C.O.R.E. is
a non-profit group that offers FREE counseling to anyone who
has, or is thinking about starting, a small business. I’ve
utilized their trained counselors on numerous occasions, and
have been grateful every time.

3. http://www.trafficology.com This is easily my new favorite
newsletter. Trafficology’s creator, Wayne Yeager, gives away
literally THOUSANDS of dollars each month for new and creative
traffic generating ideas. He then turns around and gives these
ideas to his subscribers for FREE. I’ve been receiving the
newsletter for a few months now, and I have yet to be
disappointed. While some of the ideas are WAY too crazy for me
to EVER try, the newsletter is *always* entertaining, and often
useful. 4. http://www.coachmaria.com/articles/articlebanks.html
While I can’t speak for Maria’s consulting abilities (I’ve just
never met her or heard anything about her), I can say that this
is one of the best compilations I’ve seen of places to submit
NEW articles. Some business owners have achieved maximum
exposure by utilizing these free article submission sites. Hey
it’s worth a shot right? 5. http://www.PayPerClickAnalyst.com
Pay per clicks are a great way to bring targeted traffic to your
site, because you only pay when someone actually visits your
site. It’s a great idea, but now it’s been copied so many times
that it’s impossible to keep up with which ones are worth
getting listed in, and which ones you should avoid. That’s what
makes Pay Per Click Analyst such a useful site. They keep tabs
on all the new PPCs and tell you which ones are the best. If
you’re serious about marketing your online business, then this
is one website that you need to have bookmarked. 6.
http://www.freemarketingvideos.com Every week this site puts up
a new video that covers some aspect of web marketing. So far
they’ve covered how to make and ebook, how to setup
autoresponders, and how to make digital product covers for your
products. And when you consider it’s all free, it’s definitely
worth a bookmark in my book.

7. http://www.EzineAdAuction.com Ezine advertising is one of
the cheapest and quickest ways to get the word out about a
product or service. This site allows you to bid for ultra-cheap
ad rates in a wide assortment of newsletters. If you’re serious
about marketing online, then this site is one that you need to
have bookmarked.

8. http://www.freshdevices.com Here’s another site with some
nifty utilities for you PC users out there. (Sorry Mac users.)
They offer free utilities that help you optimize and diagnose
your own system. If your computer seems to be getting slower
over time, their products may be worth trying.

The unique blend of unspoiled natural beauty and beaches and the finest surviving temples of Ancient Greece, makes Sicily a vacation destination like no other. For theatre enthusiasts, Ancient Greek Drama is also available in Syracuse.

The ancient Greek playwright Euripides (480 to 406 B.C) wrote works of tragedy and drama regarding mythological characters and Greek heroines. Picking out from his prolific list of works, this year in the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, The Trojan Women and Hecuba will intrigue the audience from 11th May to 25th June.

Euripide’s play analyses the fates of the royal women of Troy who are at the hands of Greek conquerors who under the pretext of saving Helen, are more deeply concerned by the rat race dominated by pride and personal ambition. In this milieu, Eurpide makes of Hecuba the central figure of the two works, the homonym tragedy Hecubas and the Trojan Women.

At the end of the Trojan War after ten years of harsh fight and traumatic losses, the victorious Greeks, led by their king, Agamemnon, and the great soldier Odysseus, have destroyed the city of Troy and are returning home with the women of Troy enslaved as their war prize, amongst which there is Hecuba, who once was queen of Troy. The play begins with Queen Hecuba devastated by the war and agonizing over the death of her husband, the king, her sons and her grandson.

However, although being a spoil of war herself, she manifests her strong character and superiority as from the beginning by shouting at the women enslaved on the shore. Moreover she hates Helen for bringing so much misery to her city and her people. Hecuba decides to share the burden of war and all throughout the play she imparts her pain but at the same time gaining strength by planning a horrific revenge. Hecubas impersonates the continuity of the disorder that war brought. The spectator witnesses the gradual decomposing humanity of this dethroned queen. The tragedy emphasises the transformation of this character form a matriarch and grieving mother to a cruel being.

Last year’s protagonist in the same Greek Theatre was Antigone (by Sophocles) who for twenty years accompanied her father; she is the personification of grace and patience. In contrast to Hecubas, she chose to be courageous after the great disaster of her youth without being menacing. In Antigone it was God’s justice to be proved powerful in the constant battle between human and divine law. In Hecubas, attack, war, honour and revenge play a key role in Euripide’s work. Moreover, the audience will realize that history repeats itself and that people are incapable to prevent more of the same from happening as if humans have an innate inclination towards war and battle, thus instead of learning a lesson, like Hecubas, human beings tend to do worse and perpetuate devastation and causing more pain hence getting trapped in vicious circle.

It is interesting to highlight that in the Port of Syracuse the Athenian fleet has been destroyed in the last action of the Peloponnesian War. Prisoners were taken in the latomie (stone quarries) placed nearby the Greek Theatre where many died of hunger and hardships. However, Plutarco says that many survived because they could recite pieces form Euripide’s works. Knowing if this really happened is secondary to the fact that poetry can save our life.

When it comes to search engine optimization, there is no free lunch or magic…

SEO Studio: software for search engine optimization tasks shortcut that will enable you to get top rankings without any effort or merit. However, there are a few submission, optimization and ranking tools which, when placed in the hands of competent web managers, can greatly ease the task of conducting website promotion campaigns. Here is a brief survey of one product that might be useful for you.

SEO Studio is a comprehensive software package that helps with the following tasks: 1. search engine submission 2. keyword analysis and selection 3. conducting reciprocal link campaigns and 4. checking the position of web pages in search engines queries.

Before I get into the capabilities of SEO Studio, one thing should be said: it is possible to conduct all of these tasks “by hand” especially if you have only one or two sites and if you have a good grasp of what is involved. For example, SEO Studio has a great submission tool but if you only have one site all you have to do is make a manual submission to Yahoo, and get a few links to your site from web pages that are already indexed in search engines and you will end up being listed in the major search engines due to the work of their spiders which follow links on the pages that are already in the data base. When the robots find a new page, they add it to the index.

That said, if you want to be sure to be included in search engines, and if you have several sites to take care of, the SEO Studio submission tool is handy. It allows you to automatically submit your site to around 60 top search engines. In addition, the tool is constantly updated and when you log onto the program you can get the updates and changes. For example, a recent update added the new MSN search engine to the list.

If you are a webmaster with several sites or handle the submission for client sites, the SEO Studio provides reports on the submissions. It also allows you to track manual submissions as well and record them in the reports.

Keyword Analysis and Reciprocal Link Tools

At the heart of search engine optimization is the selection and placement of keywords. SEO studio has a tool that allows you to check the keyword density in the various places of your web page: meta tags, headers, link text, alt image text, image names, file names, bold text etc. You can also use the tool to check the web pages of your competitors as well. It also has a feature that lets you connect with the Overture Search Term Suggestion Tool and Espotting to get alternative keywords. The keyword analyzer is powerful, but you still have to decide how often you want your keywords to appear on your web page.

Like the keyword analyzer the reciprocal ranking tool is multifunctional. It makes automated searches on several search engines looking for link partners according to the keyword parameters that you set. It retrieves information (page rank, Alexa rank, inbound links) about the potential partner sites, and also has a link campaign management tool.

Ranking Tools

Checking the rankings of your websites in various search engines can really seem like an insurmountable task. Have you ever gone through page after page to find out where your site stood in Google? SEO Studio has a tool to automate this process, but before you start using this tool there are a few things to consider.

First, here is a shortcut to analyzing your standing in the search engines. If your web host has a good statistics program (such as Webalizer or Awstats) or if you are able to analyze your access logs, you will see which keywords and keyword phrases people are using when they reach your website and you will see which search engines were used in these queries. These are the keywords for which you rank well, and if some keywords are not appearing in the queries then it means that you do not rank well for these items. You don’t have to sift through pages and pages of search engine results to realize this.

In addition, search engines do not like automated queries made on their data bases because it ties up their resources. Rank checking programs may sometimes be considered a violation of the search engine’s terms of use and could result in penalization of urls associated with the violation. SEO Studio says that its queries are search engine friendly, and I have used the product without any adverse affects. Overall the SEO studio at the price of $79 for a full version has been well worth it for me and I haven’t even explored the full use of all the tools. It would probably also meet the needs of anyone else who handles the promotion chores of several websites at a time. You can download a free version of the software and try it out by visiting http://www.a1-optimization.com/seostudio.htm

Whether you are 2 years old or 82, you’ve probably heard of Harry Potter. Maybe you too did not understand who he is but he’s everywhere! I started out doing some history research about Halloween, but curiosity once again dragged me elsewhere, into the unknown world of Harry Potter. Halloween is one of my least favored holidays, so I never encouraged it much while my kids were growing up. Everything is about choices in life, our children’s heroes and fads change, some we accept, some we don’t. Right now seems to be the Harry Potter movement, or phenomenon, and somehow it seems more complicated than a ‘fad’ or hero, somehow there seems to be a hidden agenda. I compare it to a user-friendly repackaged guide to an unknown world of mythology and witchcraft.

What I did discover about Halloween was that originally, it started out as ‘All Hallows Eve’ as it fell on All Saint’s Day or as the Roman Catholics called it ‘Allhallowmass’. Eventually, it was moved to November 1, as Halloween took on pagan worship and traditions. Actually, ‘trick or treat’ and ‘jack o lanterns’ are both carry-overs of pagan tradition. Also included in this celebration day is the darker side of the occult, which still occurs today and is growing at an alarming rate across the country!

So, where does Harry Potter fit in? Well, Halloween is the great holiday that Wicca and Satanic worshippers hold in high regard. Supposedly it is the day when the veil is very thin between the spirits of those gone before us and those here on earth. It is the celebrating of the communion between nature and the spirit world, a time when the connection is the easiest. The Harry Potter series is closely tied to the Wicca or White Witchcraft teachings. So, where does the controversy come in? It is between Christian/non-Christian, God/Satan, good/evil, and how they mix; like oil and water.

J.L Rowling is author of this 7 book Harry Potter series, the fifth of which is to be released shortly. She dreamed up the basis for this story while riding on a passenger train one day and has now sold over 76 million copies, in 42 languages! The books are based on fantasy and pagan traditions of the magical arts; sorcery, charms, spells, fortune telling, astrology-centered on the mythical magical world of witches, wizards and creatures of good and evil. It is told that a witch killed Harry’s parents on Halloween night, but Harry escapes. He becomes a wizard by going to Hog wart school and author Rowling creates him a hero as he studies witchcraft and magic for revenge. This boy is made to sound like a hero but he blackmails, deceives, lies, hates his enemies and takes drugs to more easily communicate with the spirit world. He practices occult, spiritism, magic, wizardry, witchcraft and astrology.
No matter if it was Rowling’s intent or not, Harry Potter has become a literacy device introducing young readers and society to the age-old war between Judeo- Christian values and sorcery (Harry Potter Wicca, witchcraft, and the Bible). Maybe it was not her intent for curious young readers to explore more deeply the “New Age” religion (or maybe it was?). Would you believe that Wicca is the fastest growing religion in the U.S? Would you also believe that a few months ago, Goggle search engine had 1 million links to the word, and today has 2.8 million? A witch school in U.S, dedicated to Wicca growth, now has 140,000 students. How is it that some schools are allowing Harry Potter books to be taught in the classroom, (Wicca is declared a religion now) but anything biblical is not?

Awareness is the key for parents and society as a whole. This is not about book burning, and banning, it is not about forbidding your child to read a book. (I remember years ago, forbidding my teenager from listening to a certain heavy metal band, but not long ago he showed me his collection of tapes to which he had memorized every word!) It is about standing up for what you believe, it is about teaching your children right from wrong, having them understand the difference between true and false fantasy, healthy and poison imagination, good and bad reading material, etc. It is about discernment, and not allowing ourselves to become desensitized to what feels wrong.

I believe that in the child’s forming years of mind, heart and soul, it would be a parental duty to lean on the side of caution. They already have enough negative world forces coming at them, so it is up to us adults to set an example and help them find a positive Higher Power or “anti-drug” as the TV ads say. With proper resources, they will be able to decide whether Harry Potter is Hero or Heathen.

Do you remember the word I made up last time?

Unjoin.

Today I’ll let you know what the concept of unjoining means and
how it will get you in trouble with your customers.

So, what does it mean to ‘unjoin’ a list before you join it?

Here are two real life examples I came across the other day from
two very large companies who should know better (I will leave
the guilty parties unnamed).

Real life example one - From a large multinational car company
website:

I do not wish to receive

( ) ABC Company special events and promotions ( ) ABC Company
Retailer promotions ( ) Marketing Surveys

Do you see where this company is requiring the customer to
unjoin the list before they even joined?

If the customer did not check the boxes above they would be put
on three email lists! I call this reverse permission email
marketing and I think it stinks.

Real life example two - From a large national telecommunications
company website:

(x)Yes, I want to receive via e-mail, information and special
offers on products and services from XYZ Company and its
affiliates.

Whoops, this company has already checked the box for the
customer! This is a sneaky way to get more email addresses on
your Email marketing list. Lots of people don’t notice the
pre-checked box and submit the form with the box checked.

The result?

Email marketing messages flooding an unsuspecting customer’s
inbox.

Did the customer ask to be added to the list?

No.

They were tricked into being put on the Email marketing list.

Now, I know all of readers of this article would never do this
to your sacred customers. Why would you?

*****It just ticks people off and you are getting customers on
your Email list who really don’t want to be a part of it*****

So how do you really ask customers to be on your list?

You ask people to join and let them join if they want to.

Don’t:

-trick people into joining by pre-checking boxes -ask people to
say which newsletters they DON’T want to receive

Here are some ethical ways to ask:

Offline businesses:

-use a blank check box on a paper form that you are using to
gather information -use a blank check box on a paper “customer
profile” form -use a blank checkbox on a paper contest entry
form -use a signup sheet at your cash register and get the
customer to signup on the spot

Online businesses:

-use an email newsletter signup form on your website -ask the
question (with an unchecked check box) when your customer is
paying for their order online -ask the question (with an
unchecked check box) when your customer is placing a customer
service request

Here is my three-step Email list building recipe:

1. Always ask your customer’s permission to add them to your
Email marketing list.

2. Be thankful for the email addresses you get on your Email
marketing list.

3. Know that the customers on your Email marketing list really
want to hear from you and will respond when you email them.

When you are trying to develop a successful website, you soon
realize that your website content is very important. Websites
with great content are more likely to have great traffic results
than those with lousy articles and headings. The more
interesting and diverse your content, the better traffic results
you will have. When trying to get the right mixture of content,
you may become frustrated. This is especially true if you are
not a strong writer. Use these tips to help you find out more
about website content and the decisions you can make to create
the best text on the web.

Care about Content

Many times, website operators don’t give content much thought.
This happens more frequently than one might expect and the
repercussions are immediate. If you want better website traffic
results, you should always be sure that you make content a
priority. Whether you write the content yourself, or hire
professional writers to develop it for you, it should be quality
writing. Someone who has passion for the subject should write
it. The more passion the writer has, the better the writing will
likely be. Usually, this is the website owner and operator,
because no one will want the site to succeed as much as this
individual. However, if you are not a great writer, you can
always hire professionals to help you with the task.

Quality over Quantity

When it comes to website content, there are obviously
guidelines. When trying to fill up a specific amount of area on
a website, it may be necessary to set limits on word count. As a
whole however, you should always strive for quality over
quantity. Having too much content can drive viewers away because
they are likely to get bored. Knowing exactly how much content
you need for your site can also be a challenge. You should
always view your site like a potential visitor would, which
means that many of your decisions may be made by instinct. You
will know when you have too much content on your site. The main
goal is to have specific and direct content that is not too
“wordy”. When there are excessive words in the content, you will
quickly lose your audience. Be direct and to the point with your
writing and you will be more efficient overall.

Natural Flow

Like discussed before, much of the content decisions for your
website will be done with instinct. You need to be sure the
content flows naturally. Natural flowing content leads easily to
other issues. One subject should flow into the other seamlessly.
The same is true with the placement of other website functions.
When you are writing, consider the placement of “submit” buttons
or other links on the page. This can help you develop content
that looks great on the page as well as sounds great to the
reader. If a piece feels unnatural when it’s being written, it
will likely look uncomfortable to the reader and will be a
disaster on your website.

Proofread

Some of the most unnecessary mistakes made with website content
writing are grammatical. Websites that contain articles with
spelling and grammar mistakes come can look ridiculous. If you
want your site to be taken seriously, you should always be sure
that your articles are proofread many times. This will help
ensure you are delivering information that is intelligent and
complete. It may help you to read your text out loud, in order
to hear what it actually sounds like. Although it may seem
unnecessary, you will find that the response will be greater
when your text is without mistake.

As you can see, there are several important aspects to
developing website content that will boost and maintain your
website traffic. You should focus on passion, quality, and flow
of your content. If you would rather not worry about these
issues, hiring a professional is the way to go. However, if you
are up to the challenge, try it yourself. Just relax and begin
writing. Let the content come to you without effort. Try
different approaches with your writing and you will quickly
learn what works best for your site and its traffic. As long as
it feels right to you when you read it on the site, it will
likely look great to your site’s visitors as well.

1. Click on “ctrl-alt-delete” keys. The windows task manager will then open, click on all programs that you don’t need and end the task. You will see that all programs on your taskbar will close one by one. If this will resolve the issue! – then save! (tip# 1: if you’re working on an MS Office application, it will automatically save your file incase the programs suddenly shut down — tip# 2: always save your file at least every 2 minutes by just simply clicking on the “diskette icon”— its just one click!)

2. If it did not resolve the issue, are there some users logged on that computer? If so, go to switch user (for XP) and log off that user, go back to your log on screen and log on again.

The reason the computer hang up is because if there are many open programs and applications, these retains in the memory, if it is too much for the memory to handle, it freezes! Another reason too the computer hang up is because if you are connected to the internet via dial up, and you are running too many applications and opening many websites.
So I suggest, if you are multimedia user or a heavy internet user, then you are better off with a higher memory, at least 512Mb of memory.

There are simple ways to avoid computer to freeze or hang up:

3. Clean your history at least once a week >tools>internet options>clear history. I normally set my history to “0”, meaning, when I restart my computer, it doesn’t save history pages that I have visited

4. Delete all internet temporary files >tools>internet options>delete files (do the “offline” content too!)

5. Delete cookies (some do not do this, but I do delete cookies at least once a week!) >tools>internet options>delete cookies

6. Remove unnecessary programs that you no longer use, they are just occupying space and memory! >control panel>add/remove programs

7. Do defragmentation at least once a week >point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (which is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>defragment now

8. You can also check the logical drive’s volume for errors >point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (I repeat, is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>check now

9. It is better to have only one user being logged on. Even if there are many users, make sure the user logs off after using the computer, rather than keeping it logged on and you do the switching of users. Switching users is good as long as you don’t keep all users logged on—I think that is more logical

10. Always shut down properly the computer (do NOT use the power button when turning it off!)
